The Stone surfaces into existence, when concentrated urine, remains in the bladder even after the urination.
On an average, they do not show signs and may be discovered by chance, during a test done for any other issue.
Five percent of urine is concentrated or saturated, which is largely the result of the dehydration or not being able to completely empty the bladder. Otherwise, ninety five percent of urine is water. Any bladder stone left, without treatment, can lead to an infection and other complications. The variance in the urine colour is the result of the wastes present in it.
Different Causes of Bladder Stone.
A bladder stone can be the symbolic hint, of a hidden complication of the urinary tract.
A.) The enlarged Prostate Gland;
The urethra, which is surrounded by the Prostate gland; carry urine from the bladder during urination. The prostate gland presses against the urethra after getting enlarged and interferes with the normal urination.
B.)The Neurogenic Bladder;
Neurogenic bladder is the condition that affects the nerves convey messages from your brain to the muscles of the bladder. So, a damaged nerves can prevent the brain from telling the bladder’s muscles to shrink and expand to urinate. Thus the urine, remains in the bladder and form stones.
C.) A Weak Bladder;
The sides or the walls of the bladder can weaken in some of the areas. These weak areas may form pouch. These pouches bulge outwards. The urine can collect and store in the pouches.
D.) An Infection or Inflammation;
The Bacteria and the other organisms may cause the bladder infections or the inflammation. The urinary tract infection is a common cause of the bladder stones. So, one should avoid getting infection.
E.) The Kidney Stones;
The kidney stones (Tiny stones), may slide into the ureters and create problem by turning into a bladder stone on entering the bladder. A Small kidney stone may pass painlessly through the urine, where as a bigger stone needs to be removed.
In the developing countries the diets are high in fat, salt and sugar and low in vitamins A, B, etc. increase the risk of bladder stones.
The Children of majority of the developing countries of the world are prone to bladder stones as they do not get the proper access to a balanced diet and water.
Who is more likely to suffer or are more susceptible to Bladder Stones?
More than ninety five percent of the people that develop a bladder stone are elder men with problems of prostate gland. Aged people are at higher risk of bladder stones. However, even men in their thirtys can develop stone having diets high in fat and sugar.
Other risk factors are:
The Bladder or The Urinary Infections (UTIs).
Bacterias begins Bladder infection. Urethras are shorter in women, which makes easy for the bacterias to enter the bladder.
The Damaged Urethra
The urethra can get injured or damaged from a trauma diseaseor an illness. It can shrink and get narrow due to an infection and blocks the flow of urine from passing outside.
